The gospel creates a new community, and growing in the gospel doesn’t happen apart from significant, encouraging Christian relationships.  At Redeemer, we desire to foster these relationships through what we call Community Groups.

 

The ministry of Community Groups is really at the heart of what the Lord is doing at Redeemer as we seek to deepen each member’s understanding of the gospel and its implications for all of life.  Our desire is that the gospel would transform the hearts, relationships and communities of our members through these groups.

 

It is our prayer that Community Groups would deepen our relationships with the Lord through personal application of the Word, as well as grow our relationships with one another through cultivating relational honesty and biblical accountability.  Community Groups also provide additional opportunity for worship through song and prayer, they encourage friendship evangelism, and they allow members to participate in the ministry of mercy.
