MINISTRIES
Redeemer Kids is our ministry to children created to support families at Redeemer. We want Redeemer Kids to reflect our desire to see the gospel grow in our community and show our commitment to support parents as the primary spiritual nurturers of their children.
During the Sunday School hour, we use The Gospel Project for Kids curriculum, which teaches through the Bible chronologically every three years. All children in kindergarten - grade 6 learn the same lesson, taught in developmentally appropriate ways, and memorize the same Scripture, simplifying family discussions and Scripture memory practice at home.
Each week, our joyful teachers meet children in small groups for welcome activities designed to prepare the kids for the upcoming lesson and help them to feel comfortable and settled. Kids then gather together for large group worship through music, which focuses on teaching kids to glorify our good God, memorize His Word, and learn great hymns both old and new. Children then split into groups to hear the Bible lesson taught and engage in age-appropriate activities to reinforce the lesson.
During our 10:30 worship service, children are joyfully invited to join their parents and the rest of the congregation. Kids are welcome to bring a picture Bible, drawing materials, or other quiet activities to help occupy their hands as they share in hearing the preaching from God's Word. Nursery programming is available for children 5 and under at this time.
