Anticipatory Joy…In What?

As our church anticipates the dawn of a new era with the installation of our first vocational preaching pastor in two and a half years, we find ourselves excited about future possibilities.

Will you, the reader, pray Ephesians 3:16-19 with us?

16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.

Keep us on track spirit; it’s not the man, it’s Christ! It’s not what the man does, but the community, with Christ in their hearts that shows where it is grounded. It is not the ministry or the man that creates life. It’s found in being rooted and grounded in His love. And it is all of this combined that helps us, in all 3-plus dimensions of our lives, to know something – His love, our union with Him, what the world sees when He is in us and how we love one another in community – that “surpasses knowledge.”

Keep us on track.

Please Lord, Please…?

We ask of You?

We beg of You?

In Christ,
