As Christians, we have a powerful opportunity to demonstrate the grace and mercy Christ has shown us by working to meet the needs of others. Whether it be through supplying food, shelter, clothing, medical care, or other critical needs, the goal of the Mercy Ministry at Redeemer is to tirelessly work at alleviating suffering.
Through our Mercy Ministry, we put the gospel into action as we care for those in need, assisting people both within our church as well as the community around us.
Our mission is to emulate Christ by meeting felt needs through deeds in a way that reverses the effects of the fall, convinces unbelievers of the gospel, and brings transformation to our communities, all to the glory of God.
At Redeemer, our mercy assistance not only addresses immediate needs, but is also focused on identifying the root causes of those needs in ways that empower individuals and families to move toward material self-sufficiency.
For those who attend Redeemer, Mercy Ministry begins with our Community Groups as well as giving to the mercy offering on a regular basis.
